Photobook Making

If you don’t have a lot of scraps or a large enough surface area for scrapbooking, photobooks are a great alternative. I like to use Shutterfly for their variety of designs and of course for their coupons!

Photobook making, like scrapbooking, starts with selecting your photos of interest for the photobook. I am currently working on a France-themed photobook and organize my photos by making a “best of” album to summarize the trip on Google Photos. This way I can easily upload all of my favorites to make my photobook. The Shutterfly interface allows you to choose a design as well as individual backgrounds and embellishments. I chose a “Travel” theme for my France photobook. I also added Christmas backgrounds and stickers since the trip was around the winter holidays.

Photobooks can get very pricey if you like a lot of detail like myself, so always use a coupon when making your final purchase. Shutterfly will target their coupons when you sign up by email but if you simply Google Shutterfly coupons you are sure to find good options. I regularly get 50% off on the lovely photobooks I make.

My preferred style is the 8×8 hardcover version of Shutterfly photobooks, but there are a variety of dimensions to choose from. I often make photobooks as personal gifts for important occasions like graduations. The below completed photobook is a celebration of my birthday in 2017 and was made using Shutterfly.
