I attended my first ever baseball game post full vaccination and was very excited to create a themed look to support my local team, the Oakland A’s. Their colors are green and gold and I crafted my look around this color combo.
I achieved the makeup by using the green from Juvia’s Place Masquerade Palette and yellow from Sigma’s Macaron Palette. I first used a cream shade as a base and then worked the green into the crease and blended well. I then added yellow to the lid and used a deeper green on the outer corners of my eyes. I used Stila Stay All Day liquid liner for my winged liner look and Benefit’s Gimme Brow for an effortless brow look. To achieve the “A’s” detail, I again used the Stila liquid liner. This was the most challenging part because I did the A’s backwards at first because of course I always do my make-up using a mirror. When my partner made the observation that it was backwards I struggled to do it properly but was happy with the ultimate result!
Underneath my blond hair I had done a rainbow hair look using Overtone products which I will describe in a future post. For my hair, I split my hair into pigtails which were naturally lightly curled from wearing them in a braid all day. I wrapped one pig tail with a green ribbon and the other with a yellow ribbon. I curled my face-framing layer and added a yellow bow to complete the look. For the ensemble, I went with a fun yellow shirt and green skirt, tied together with a figure-flatting chunky black belt. Oakland A’s green and gold socks completed the look.
I had a ton of fun creating this look! From taking shameless pictures around the Oakland Coliseum to watching the A’s win the game, I had a fabulous time and am excited for future opportunities to attend sporting events (and dress for the occasion)!
