Below is the design of the logo for my blog from sketch to digital painting. I had a lot of fun creating this logo including both the sketch and the digital painting of the sketch using GIMP. The logo features a self-portrait, the name of my blog “Millennial’s Delight” at the top, and some of my favorite to topics to blog about drawn in my flowing locks like accessories including: Halloween costumes, Brunch, Nail art, and Makeup.

Update 2023:
Although I really liked this logo design, I felt it no longer fully encapsulated the whimsical lifestyle vibe my blog has developed over the years. To update the look of the logo (now featured as the profile picture for my Instagram), I started by removing the four emoji themes and the old MissAnneThropeQ screen name from the logo design. I then updated the makeup look with a crease color and blending, contoured cheeks, and feathered brows. I changed the outfit to a pink polka dot dress with a pearl necklace to reflect my current flowy and feminine style.

To complete the new logo I made the color above my head match the pastel pink of my dress while feeding into purple and blue (an homage to the bi pride flag). I also added lots of fun waves and highlights to my hair. I completed the logo with the blog title “Millennial’s Delight” which I curved slightly to arch around my head. I really love both the old and new logo designs and feel like they both fit my blog well then and now.

It is really lovely to enjoy how beautifully my blog has developed while appreciating where it started from.
