OK Cafe is a challenge for vegetarians, focusing mainly on meat-heavy dishes for brunch items, but they do have a few options. Their French toast was quite good, with a fried crust on the outside giving it a crunchy texture. Their pineapple bun was buttery and flaky with an additional slab of butter in the center for good measure. Unfortunately the service was not good because it was so crowded, and this is where most croissant points were lost. By the time I had finished my French toast, they had not even begun to cook my boyfriend’s order and he ended up canceling it and going to a bakery instead because he (understandably) did not want to wait. Overall, as the cafe name suggests, just OK: 3/5 croissants, pretty good food but pretty bad service.

Correction: I had incorrectly before stated my disappointment with pineapple buns, saying they did not taste of pineapple. This was my mistake. I had gotten pineapple buns (which are just supposed to be bread with a cross-hatched pineapple shape) confused with pineapple cakes (which have pineapple filling inside). This was entirely my mistake, and I have corrected my review accordingly.
